Ford On Film

Chronicles of a silver screen addict

The Anomalisa trailer has arrived, and it doesn’t disappoint

Following up my post last week about the first official still from Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson’s upcoming stop motion drama Anomalisa, it’s with great excitement that I can share the film’s first official trailer. With gorgeous character designs, suitably philosophical dialogue (“Everyone has a body, and every body has it’s aches”), and the always enjoyable voiceover of David Thewlis, Anomalisa looks exactly as good as I hoped when I first heard about it.

With a rare 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a thrilling trailer, and the promise of Charlie Kaufman’s first original screenplay in seven years, Anomalisa surely ranks as one of the most promising, must-see cinematic experiences of 2015.
